Shakira rejoins her Argentine public after seven years
Shakira returned to Argentina for two appearances in the country with the El Dorado World Tour.
The show in Buenos Aires took place at the Velez Stadium.
In the middle of shredded paper and fireworks, Shakira rocked the chairs to the rhythm of La Bicicleta, at the closing of the show that counted with about 40 thousand people, marking its return to Argentina after 7 years.
“I always think of you, Buenos Aires,” were the words of Shakira at the beginning of the show, with a mix of Estoy Aquí and Cortes, two classic themes of Shakira at the beginning of their career, both adapted to their current situation, with bases electronics.
The two large round screens next to the stage and a wide catwalk were the two attractions of the show.
The epic moment of the show was the interpretation of Amarillo, one of the themes of his album El Dorado, where at the end of the presentation Shakira made a beautiful tribute to his friend Gustavo Cerati, with his photo on his guitar.
